Trunk Light

I want to replace the bulb in the trunk with an LED bulb. I removed the trunk lamp assembly but I can't figure out how to remove the bulb. Does anyone know how to remove the bulb? Replacement LED bulb?

Thanks!

Its a wedge bulb so just wiggle back and forth carefully. Sucks though cause the bulb gets hot fast if its still connected. Use a damp cloth for better grip.

I figured it was a wedge bulb but how to you open the lamp assembly to pull the bulb out?

If you have the sedan, there is a slot on the drivers side of the lens. I just used a flat screwdriver to pop it off. The socket is attached to the lens and I just wiggled the bulb out

Got it...thanks! So what size wedge type LED bulb did you use to replace? I don't want one that is overly bright.

Happy with this one, but any T10 type bulb should work.
