The tip will change the tone just a bit depending on the design of the tip.. more turns in the exhaust the louder or throatier.. depends on how u do it

Compensating FAIL.

Winning! Even sounds cleaner.

Why is my exhaust pipe on the right with my SEL? Most of you people posted are on the left.

That's because by removing your second muffler, it now places the exhaust pipe on the left.

AH. I'm liking the sound of the mod; just not sure it would sound good with an Automatic LOL.

Of course, tips, dunno what to do for a tip.

^ This.

That's the whole theme of this thread, is deleting the second muffler. I believe I've posted this in previous pages, but here is the "delete" we are doing.

The rear muffler.

Now deleted. Our cars still have a muffle further up the line closest to the engine. (This is with my old tip BTW)

I did the mod and I have the automatic. I didn't like the sound and went back to the original configuration. Perhaps that's why.

I did the mod and I have the automatic. I love like the sound and won't ever back to the original configuration.

So basically -- take it to shop, tell em to chop off the lunch box, run pipe, and set the tip where you want it.

Easy enough.
