owned contour (maybe v6)

last night, me and a friend were just cruisin down the street and we see a wrx sti. well we were commenting on the car cause at like every light, he would like get on it and then just slow down. well, we come up to a red light and there is a contour sittin there. well i just sat there and waited for the green light cause i knew he was goin to hit it. well green light and i floor it and take him off the line. car hits into 2nd and he gains up to about mid car. then car shifts into third and he drops back to my bumper. well, i go to let off the gas at about 55 and my damn accelerator got stuck.......at wide open throttle. well i didnt really panic cause its happened before. but i slow down and the contour flies by. well my friend says he knows the guy in the contour cause he goes to his school and he said it was a v6 contour. but if that was a v6, there is no way i would have beat him. just no way. but i know he was tryin. i know i'll prob. get some b.s. flags on this but i dont care cause i know it happened. maybe the kid doesnt know how to drive but i dunno. and i dont wanna hear street racing is bad. i know it is and i very very very rarely do it but it was 1 in the morning and noone was on the street.

so how did you manage to slow down?
he could have just sucked at driving, plus if he had a ton of ICE then could have weighed him down also.

well even in a manual, if you push in the clutch, the engine will still be pinning at redline until you can fix the problem.

Auto's are completely capable of racing. Don't be a jackass just because he has an auto. Anyone can have a little fun every now and then.
