Sedan Owners with Rear Spolier Beware !

Just noticed today that are rear spolier is starting to lift up on both front points !

I can believe these Spoilers are just on with double sided tape

oil change coming up see what our dealer has to say about this and what the fix will be ?

will keep everyone informed !

Ouch, thankfully my aftermarket one is bolted down. No easy task with this trunk.

I'll keep watch for any signs of lifting on mine. Thanks for the heads up!

Tex, it seems to me the reality is that the later builds are not as susceptible to problems as the earlier ones. I think you'll be okay.

Don't forget though, people complain about something if its not working. Not a lot start threads to stay their MFT is working just fine, or their DCT is working flawlessly. I'm not saying later builds are immune, just saying I think they have worked out some kinks, I don't think you should worry.

I haven't noticed any issues with mine but will keep an eye out! Surely there must be one bolt per side at least?

Agreed..! I've been in precision stainless steel sheet fabrication all my life and whenever there was a bolt on option we either have a separate cnc program or a block skip in the program that would leave out the holes if not needed. But then I remembered these parts are stamped and the die sets are mega expensive so maybe having additional die sets that put in holes or a 2nd stage die to do it was considered to expensive...
If it is just tape they must have a lot more faith in adhesives then I do.And what about paint adhesion? because its the paint its taped too...Hard to believe its just tape.

Maybe his spoiler was a "dealer added option"?
