I like to listen to podcasts during my commute to work. I have an app on my Galaxy s4 that I use through MFT with bluetooth stereo. When I got to work I turned off the car and got out, looked at my phone and noticed that it paused the podcast player. When I got back in the car as soon as the radio came back up my podcast resumed playing. Pretty cool!

I learned that many e-spec functions can be turned on much like VAGCOM is to VW. I just have to find a dealer that will let me play around with their laptop.

I am not sure if this is universal, I would imagine the harness would be different. But this decodes a lock-unlock-lock input on the key fob and rolls down all four windows.

X 2!!
Would love to roll down windows with key fob!

I also discovered today that the drivers side sun visor extends back/forth on rod for additional sun blockage - NICE! (I don't remember my old Focus having this option).

I think it's new for '13. I rented a couple of '12s on my business trips before buying my '13 and was slightly annoyed when I couldn't extend the visor. It was one of the first things I tried when sitting in my new car.

I like to pretend Ford made the change just for me.

(p.s. My first car was a '79 Mercury Bobcat wagon. I liked the grille better than the Pinto, but there was hardly any other difference)

My '91 Ford Taurus had the best sun-visor. The regular padded one and a smaller plastic one ... and it the sun was from the side you could flip the padded one to cover your side window just like the average sun-visor and use the plastic one to cover the front.

I keep trying it on mine and still no luck. But I guess that saves from using the fob as I never use any of the buttons.

What do you mean it extends back/forth on the rod? I tried mine and it does not. Maybe the visors that does not have the lighted mirror?

I have lighted mirrors..When you un-clip your visor and swing it left (towards driver side window), it should extend back/forth on the support rod.

Well, at least mine does, maybe it's a late 2013 change in the car?
