Do you know if the the wheel wells are bigger in on the Titanium? I looked at my SE today (fitted with 16") and just couldn't see anything more than a 17" fitting that wheel well. At minimum, it'd be quite a tight fit.

They compensate for the 18" wheels by limiting the turning radius. (thus no rubbing) It is like "U" turning a school bus.

Also, rim is bigger but the tire is smaller in height wider in footprint.

Haha, that's disappointing. I love the turning radius with my 16" wheels. Good info to know though once I plan on getting some "summer rims".
