If you want to crank the engine without starting it, hold the accel pedal to the floor before turning the key to the start position (or pressing the start button).

i just like the fact i can run my foglights on without the headlights on, instead of modding it like i had to do on my 2001.

I have to say, the car looks so much cooler when you open the door and it's just the footwell/door coloured LEDs and the two screens and gauges lit up. :D
Sort of like mood lighting....awesome!

How did you ever discover this???

Thanks!

Not sure if this has been posted yet or not but I finally figured out how to use the intelligent key to unlock/lock all the doors at once.

Yes....the procedure is spelled out very clearly in the "owner manual".

Really? I must have missed it. I hate having dig the key out of my pocket to unlock all the doors at once so I looked in the manual but never saw it. Anyways glad I can unlock all the doors now just by touching the handle on the drivers door. Way more convenient.

Too bad the owners manual doesn't post on the forums and he was unsure of whether or not that feature had been posted about :P

Keep the key hole visible

Some have complained about not being able to see the key hole when trying to insert the key into the ignition. That is true with the steering wheel straight up, but if you simply give the wheel a 1/4 turn to the right the key hole is easily visible. I have gotten in the habit of giving the steering wheel that 1/4 twist before turning the car off and it is a piece of cake to put the key in the next time.

Maybe you could post the whole owner's manual in all the threads and kill most conversations. That would be pretty cool.
