If you push the start button without putting your foot on the brake, it goes into accessory mode.

Just hit the radio power button.

On the contrary it would work well and need minimal updating. Apple is adamant about testing their products in that way. :) Don't hate when you're wrong :P

For the folding rear seats on the hatchback, if you don't push the headrests down all the way then you can slide them out without pushing the release buttons each time. That makes it much easier to fold the seats down quickly.

I have to say, the car looks so much cooler when you open the door and it's just the footwell/door coloured LEDs and the two screens and gauges lit up. :D
Thanks for the tip. That is much nicer upon opening the door.

Actually found this in another posting awhile later and tried it yesterday. Talk about a "duh" moment! It is pretty cool though.

Okay...did something last night and I'm not sure what actually happened.

Was parked as I was waiting to meet up with my wife after work. As she drove up, I flashed my lights at her (like she could miss me being the only Focus in the parking lot), but as I did heard a distinctive beep. Did it a couple times and it kept beeping, but couldn't see why it was beeping. Then, when I got out of the car to lock it up, noticed the tail-lights were on, but the light switch was set to off. Had to start the car, then shut it off again.

Now is this a feature of some sort? Try flashing the lights (while off) and see if anyone else sees similar reaction. What kinda thing would this benefit???

It's called follow me home or something like that.

I just checked mine ... sure enough: with the car off, every other headlight flash emits a beep. I have no idea what the purpose if that is.

At least it isn't like the F150 I have for work. If I park with headlights on and in High beam on, I can turn the key to off, take it out of the ignition and she still runs! Flick to low beam and the truck shuts off. Go figure...we have 2 the same model and year and they both do it.
