New guy here, 2012 SEL 5 door, metallic white with the 302A....

Since we are talking about hatches. I found out that I can use the remote to activate the hatch release without having to unlock the car and disarm the factory alarm. Once I closed the hatch it remains locked and alarm is still armed.

I used to unlock the all the doors and then use the the fob or push the release button to pop the hatchback. It's great that you can unlock the hatch directly, so you can load or remove your items, close the hatch and walk away.

There isn't an inside release. Just the release pointed out in that silly picture and the key.

A surprising number of people seem to miss this, same with folding the seats flat.

I guess it depends on how far you have to roll as well. In neutral I could coast for a long time, but the engine uses fuel to keep idling. When coasting in drive with your foot off the gas, the engine doesn't use fuel (except it uses fuel when downshifting to keep up with the RPMs!) but you also slow down a lot quicker! I've stopped popping it into neutral since I didn't notice a big difference.

My glovebox looks so empty now! And now when someone (inevitably) breaks into my car in downtown Milwaukee, they'll be like - WTH?
Off topic but our company is based out of downtown Milwaukee and was very impressed with how clean it is there.

That's been available on all cars I've driven, going back to my first - a 1988 tempest. But i'm glad your enjoying your discovery.
