This isn't really a tip or trick, but I only just recently noticed that the HID headlights on my 2013 ST include cornering lamps. They're located inboard from the headlight and high beams, shine outward at about 45 degrees, and are activated only by turning the steering wheel right or left. Our 2013 Titaniums (with non-HID lights) don't have this feature.

Don't think there's any way to do that that wouldn't also keep the fogs on while the brights are on without some clever tricks.
I did a mod liek this to my Titan truck. Basically I cut the wire coming out of the foglight switch, and hooked it up to a relay that was connected to my battery ( extended the wire of course). Fogs turn on when I tell them to. I did this mod after hitting heavy heavy fog, like the 5mph kind and found my headlights to be too bright. This allows me to turn on my foglights without headlights (ya I know its illegal but damn I needed it that one day), and turn on fogs with highbeams when offroading. Or to turn on my foglights when it's raining instead of my headlights.

Don't know if this has been posted anywhere on this long thread (122 pages!) but just realized the other day that the back wiper on my 2012 Ti will come on automatically when I back up. Had my front wipers on 'Sensing' and had my back wiper off, but as I was backing up noticed my rear wiper swiped. Totally took me off-guard so I did a controlled experiment and sure 'nuff it will swipe almost everytime the front ones do while you're backing, whether it's on or off.

That's pretty cool though, to discover a slick little trick like that 2 years into ownership.

Yep, designed to attempt to clear your view behind you when backing up!

a quick tip, when driving my DCT in select-shift mode, i used to downshift to 1st right before i came to a stop. i tried not doing that (stopping with it in 2nd) and i found that when you stop, it changes to first anyway. so now i don't bother explicitly shifting to first anyhow since it's pretty jarring even at 5-10mph.

still getting used to the DCT but i really do like it more than an old-fashioned 'automatic'

If only they had a tiny little wiper on the rearview camera.
