Upshifts when accelerating*
Shift from:
1 - 2 12 mph (19 km/h)
2 - 3 23 mph (37 km/h)
3 - 4 32 mph (51 km/h)
4 - 5 41 mph (66 km/h)
5 - 6 42 mph (67 km/h)
Im pretty sure if I could make myself drive that way for a tank worth of miles then drive shiftin at 2-2500 im positive my way will do better mpg n be a lot easier on boom boom

I was checking what I usually shift at, and it averages 3500rpm consistently. Not the greatest for mileage.

I've been shifting before 1500 rpm, and that's giving me the advertised ST mpg of around 26/32. But maybe I'm able to drive comfortably with those early shifts because the ST's extra horsepower makes the engine more forgiving?

Occasionally, of course, just for fun I'll give it the beans, and gives me the not-so-advertised torque steer, along with the usual grin.

Im pretty happy with the sound quality better than shaker 500 in musty gt but would be nice if it had volume level of the shaker system.

Zoom zoom?!?!? I think we are getting a little off topic here. Let's get back to tips and tricks.

I like to call the SYNC and ask for a business search and have it send the address to the navigation. Totally hands free!!! Ford purchased the "Tell Me" company several years ago. I use to use it for free before Ford acquired them.

I still get 35mpg shifting at 3500rpm so I'm not too worried about it though, my GT liked to be shifted at any RPM and I still clocked 22mpg. Thats a mix of city and freeway.
