Timing belt replacement before install??
Just curious i have a 2004 Zetec with 69k Miles on it and i plan on installing a JRSC W/BBK should i be replacing the timing belt before i do this install just to save on the labor and hassle of having to replace it with a supercharger on it? I want some peoples opinion before i do this Thanx everybody!

Yes if it was me i would replace it. Your already going to have alot of the major components off for a timing belt change so it would make sense to. Plus if i has never had one being an 04 with 70k i would, and also because the added load your going to be putting on everything.

Hi.., Mine is 1500 miles. It still looks good and steady. We haven't had any issues with the stock belt other than getting a little warm when we were riding hard on the dunes with our turbo 900's.
