I will say this ... you certainly live up to your S/N.

Basically you get 2 years extra coverage, after you were covered for 5 years.
Most major defects should show up sooner than 5 years.

The real geniuses are the actuaries that have statistics on their side.

The real clowns are the folks manipulating the stock market in their favor.

Both statements . . . 100% accurate.

My issue isn't the years but the miles. I see most people have said that if there is a problem it should surface within 3 years that's great and all if you stay within the mileage in those 3 years. I put about about 25,000 a year on my car so I won't ever make the years it will always be a milage thing for me. So I go back and forth on the ESP and it's worth.
So do you think it's the years or the mileage that is the biggest factor on something going wrong? Would you say me hitting the 36,000 mi limit in 18 months is the same as some one who hits their 36K in 36 months?

If you use up the warranty miles, you are done. You have no more warranty.

In your case, you will reach 75K miles in 3 years. You better hope that if something major is going to fail, it fails sooner than later.

This is why the statistics are in their favor. They know that for the most part,
major components fail after your warranty expires. That's why I think its best to
keep the money in the bank, your bank, not theirs.

I ended up getting the Premium Care Warranty for 7 yrs 100,000 for 1125.00 with a 100.00 deductable. I plan on keeping the car past 4 or 5 years that's why I got it. I am not gambling that the car will have big problems, but that if I keep the car as intended that I will end up spending more than 1125.00.

You could invest that $1120 in the stock market. In 5 years it could be worth $300.

Or put it in your savings account and have.... $1121!

I'd say 7yrs/100K for $1120 is a good deal. I drive about 15K a year, and I'd hate to see my warranty expire after 2 years of ownership. That's NOTHING. The first time MFT takes a crap and has to be replaced, I bet it'd be damn close to $1120.

actually that is not a "bad" deal but not a good one. you can get 7 years 125k for about 400 bucks less if you use the internet to get a genuine Ford extended warranty.
