photoshop. it takes a bit of manipulation...and sometimes i have to do some tricks like content-aware fill!

you don't have to use photoshop...you could try using GIMP...which is a free editor. I'm just not familiar with it but it should let you at least resize.

Is that all you're doing is resizing? I would think that would throw off the aspect ratio, no?

actually...first i resize keeping the aspect ratio so that i either get 800 wide or 378 tall (whichever works best)...then i do a canvas resize....which cuts/crops the extra off so that it fits the 800x378 size. it's not too difficult...unless the image is square...then you have to do a bit more work to use photoshop's magic tools ;)

I was going to install these pics on my Ti.. (thanks for the uploads, btw) and with the 800 x 384 format it would NOT install. I re-sized them a bit smaller, to the max of 378, and they worked fine. Thanks again for your efforts, especially with the Xmas ones now that the season is upon us.
