Posted via FF Mobile Yes they interchange. The block is a upgraded version of the production zetec 2.0 motor. Its a cast iron block and has lightweight cast aluminum pistons are attached to forged steel connecting rods with 20mm wrist pins. The special pistons increased compression from 9.6:1 in the base focus to 10.2:1 in th SVT model. Fordtec

i thought it was the head that raised the compression. the standard zetec head is 48cc and the svt zetec head is ~42cc

edit: you can also use a regular zetec (focus or zx2) head gasked with the svt head to get a little more compression
