Talking Door Speakers

Maybe someone could help me out. I have a 2012 focus hatch. I would really like to get new door speakers on account that the standard OEM speakers blow. Does anyone know the dimensions of speakers I need? And any suggestions on what type of speakers to get? Im more of a bass kind of guy. THANKS!

You won't benefit from replacement speakers unless you replace your radio as well.

I dont have the sony system in it I only have the sync. Does that still not really matter? Or is it just because of the equilizer of the original system? I have a jensen unit from my previous car but I do not think it will fit even with the after market dash kit. What do you suppose I do? And it really wont make a difference at all?

If you want bass, add a subwoofer. You'd get more help in the ICE sections of the forum however. Changing your speakers won't do anything because the radio is still sending the same amount of power to them.

Okay. Have you saw that metra dash kit? If so I would probably need that and then I would need to find a headunit that would fit in the after market dash that also has sync. I'll be able to find all of that information under ICE?

Between the ICE section and crutchfield.com , you'll have all the info you need.
