Possible fuel starving?

Hey guys. Other day I got to the top end of the rpm band in 3rd gear. And all of a sudden my car lost all power and started bucking. So let off the gas for a sec and it calmed right down. I find it also does the same thig when I'm trying to merge on a highway and reach top end of the rpm band. I have the stock fuel system with 61# injectors. Would putting a fuel regulator and goin return style fix my issues?

Sounds like water in your intercooler and it's getting blown onto the MAF in boost.
If it was running fine and nothing else has changed then I'd check that first.

First I would do a datalog to see what the cause is , if the fuel psi is falling down then you will see that and know where to look to fix this issue

Let me know if you need help with the datalog

Amen to that. Had the same problems when I was boosted. Would start bucking with to much pedal. Ended up dumping a cup of water out of the piping.

So we tried to get t to start buckin and stuff yesterday and we did. This time in 5th gear pedal to the floor and sure enough away she went. We noticed my fuel pressure gauge drops a lot. So looks like its time do get a bigger fuel pump and do a return style fuel system

So no water in the intercooler? So much for a simple fix.
