You wouldn't want a 00+ zetec head that's decked .030" do you? I have one that I was planning on using, so I smoothed out the ports and the bowls and had it decked. Nothing too drastic, didn't remove too much material. Also have brand oem new valves and springs. Shipping is around 30 bucks to conti us.

DIY VCT delete is about 90% done.
Spacer for the VCT delete needs trimmed down a bit more, then it will be done. ![]() ![]() Have 2 different valve covers to choose from until I find an SVT one. ![]()

i'm a huge fan of the cover with the plug wire cover imo I like them more then the Sgt cover when they are powdercoated or painted nice. But if its just temporary the black one is a bit ,ess work cause it doesn't have the extra cover
|

Me too. The only reason I got the other is because I can probably mod my COP plate to fit it.

Ok so I found a used spec stage 3 clutch with less than 1k on it for $250, or I found a spec stage 2 with 20k for $150. Not really needing to spend the money on the tranny right now, but they are both a good deal.

After realizing my valve spring compressor isn't the right one for the Zetec, I tried to rent one, but Autozone doesn't even carry it. And I wasn't about to spend $40 on one that I will probably use once. So I built one. Kinda sloppy, but it served its purpose for $7.
