In the box or in the grill?

If it's the box, the hose penetrated the box at an angle towards the fender, with more of the hose exposed in the front portion of the box. I took a razor blade and trimmed the hose to match the box, then filled it all in with the silicone. I think it might just be an optical illusion that the hose looks straight.

You get some garlic pretty soon, don't you?

Garlic lol yeah... I should have stated in the grill area. Mine seems as if its way off to the right side if your looking at it.

Mine is definitely oriented from the right side and canted toward the centerline. Pic was taken near the left side of the grill, and maybe angled in a bit towards the air hose.

I grew up in San Martin.

Has anybody done this on an s model without the grill plate to knock out? I'm wondering what the options are for getting the air to the pipe.

Ah, It could be you cut the tip of the pipe where I have not done that because I am still looking for something to redirect the air into the pipe.

I put it and the K&N in on 6/22. Bought an already modded airbox, block plate, bracket/hoseclamp, and hose from ihdillon.

I have my complete OEM airbox w/resonator and MAF that we can ship around for guys to do baselines with if they need it.

As you can see from the dirt and bugs impacted on my K&N, this thing is getting all the air it needs. That dirt pattern is from only 12 days(872 miles) of running.

Awesome, sounds like you like it. I like that you sealed the hose to the box.

I need to get past this dyno weekend, then I will be cutting random holes in my box. I have access to some high-grade parts and fabrication materials...

Naturally, I seem to have to tweak everything

Better start rotating your filter during oil changes and cleaning a bit (lot) sooner than normal...

Hopefully the Outerwears helps.
