Shaving a 2007 ST

I learned today about the term for what I'm trying to do to my Focus: shaving. My first goal is to remove all the badges, Ford emblem included. I was able to remove the dealer sticker, the Focus letters and the ST badge. I started out like this:

And went to this:

My problem is with the Ford emblems. The rear one has a raised bit all the way around it, so just pulling it off still leaves sort of a hole. I was wondering if there was a way to replace the whole piece that it was sitting on, or if that would screw up a lot of things.

I'm also having trouble with the front grille. I want to find a blank replacement grille to replace the current one.

All I can find are ones with the spot for the badge, overlays or a roll of mesh to do myself. I was just trying to see if there was a way to get a plastic predone one without the room for the badge.

Sorry for all the questions. Hopefully someone has answers.

Not a whole lot of options for the 05-07 as far as grills , youll probably have to fabricate your own.
Same with the rear . Maybe try looking at some of the emblem overlays that are available and see if you are willing to just roll with a set of those

Well, look on eBay for grilles, or go crazy n make you're own. The back you could always do a real "shave" and sand down, body filler and then paint. That's how guys do door handles and like key holes and stuff

I'm honestly surprised at the lack of blank grilles I found on eBay. I'm a bit iffy about making my own because I don't really consider myself that handy, but it looks like it may come down to that.

I also saw a project someone did here: http://forums.focaljet.com/team-rigz...h-project.html that turned out awesome, but that's a bit daunting for me, though I do love the look. Guess that'll just have to be down the road unless I can find a local shop that does custom work.

So after a very random bit of searching I found this: http://cmodgrilles.auctivacommerce.c...-P2784482.aspx for the front. (Maybe it'll help you too!). So I guess that solves the front.... still probably going to have to rely on a body shop for the back. Sure sounds expensive.

nahh try the back yourself. worst that happens is that you eff up and go to a junk yard and buy a new trunk and paint it. but if it works, youll still be saving a ton. just takes time and patience. heres some examples.

that key hole would be the hardest part, you'd be left with strictly only remote access and it's basically irreversible, but looks clean as hell
