My first car was a 1999 Nissian Sentra - I was 18 and paid for it with $3000 that I saved all by myself. I loved that little car even though it didn't return the favour. I took it on 3 hour road trip and was on the side of the road two hours into it - after that I stuck to city driving haha

My first car was a 1993 mustang gt. It was the two tone ( marron and silver ). It was an automatic. It was completly stock. It had about 75,000 miles on it. It was a very nice first car. Then one day on my way home from school somebody rear-ended me and it totaled my car. R.I.P. 1993 gt. I was lucky enough to get the 2002 red svt that i have today for free from my uncle after i wrecked my first car.

My 1st car: the USS Rustoleum!!LOO

1982 Subaru 1800 GL 4WD wagon,light blue exterior/darkblue/plaid interior
Even with a 4-spd manual transmission the car was slow. And Subies back then were notorious for severe rust corrosion. The rust was so bad on mine the jack up points were useless and it went thru at least 4 mufflers on me. Mine went to the scrapyard @ 92K miles(beyond economical repair).

To give you an idea of what it looked like here's a picture of one-same color, only mine wasn't turbocharged and mine didn't have the quad headlights like this one did(mine did have a "cyclops" highbeam headlight hidden behind the retractable grille insignia though)

1957 TR3A, baby blue with black leather seats, black convertible top and side curtains (any one know what those were?) I lived in Chicagoland at the time, and we had some -20F days. It started every morning, without fail, but the heater was pitiful, even by British standards. The illusion of speed came from the seat height being, maybe, 18" above the street, and the cutaway door allowing one to reach down and pick up anything lying on the road. What a great car! Not as good as the '57 Porsche speedster I bought next, but fun and reliable.

Funny, all these years and I never knew about that feature on the old Subies!

Can you believe I wanted one of those? I would have taken either a BRAT or the wagon. Something about the 4WD and the 'sporty' image spoke to me as a child in the 1980's. Especially the rear-facing jumpseats in the BRAT. Had I known they had a cyclops headlight that would have been the icing on the cake.

Well it depended on the model year and trim level. I know the 1982 models with single headlights had the "cyclops" feature(oddly enough my Subie also had under the bumper foglights as well) but by 1983 the cyclops was gone as the Subarus then had received a facelift, gaining a quad headlight front end.
