Check your plastic pieces..
When I got in my car this morning for some reason I looked down before I closed the door and noticed a gap between the body and the black plastic piece that runs below the doors. I'm not sure if the lock pins just weren't pushed in all the way or if they had actually popped out. I pushed the panel in and the front 2 plastic lock pins locked into place. Hopefully this isn't a recurring issue.

Yea it happens. I also have a 2010 Toyota Matrix and just the other day the lower front bumper was saggin a little on driver side. I had to snap it back in place on the seem below driver headlight. So far on Focus its all tight.
