partially true. The 'ecoboost' describes Ford's new line of 'eco friendly engines'. they're basically a smaller motor with a small turbo to make up for the HP and TQ lost with a small motor. Ford's ecoboost comes from Mazda's SkyActive Technology. Basically, vehicles with a V8 will get a V6 with a Turbo to make up for the lost power. V6's will get a turbo'd I4 to make up for the lost of power. the I4's are going to become smaller and get a real tiny turbo. They're trying to make everything more fuel efficient, so they lower the displacement of the engines and add a turbo. The engine that's in my CX7 (2.3L DISI Turbo) is the 'father' of the technology. What they learned with that motor, Mazda and Ford came up with their own names for fuel efficient motors. All (ok, MOST) of Ford's Vehicles will be 'ecoboost' when all is said and done. The bad thing is, a turbo'd vehicle can use more fuel than a non-turbo'd vehicle, depending on how often you go into boost.

It delivers 365 hp and 420 lb.-ft. of torque, 15mpg city and 21mpg highway if you have a 4x4, 16mpg city and 22mpg if you have a 4x2

Yeah I would love to find a year or two old ST later on. I drove an ecoboost F150 today, the thing that impressed me the most is how smooth the power is. I mean to get a fairly large pickup to move as fast and smooth as it did is awesome. No waiting to get into a power band it just gets up and goes... and keeps going.

hey jeff, you said that blue focus with the euro bumper in the rear works by you? I'm tempted to try and get this bumper http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=273317 , have it painted that cars color and offer him a bumper w/o holes in it for their euro one "with holes" haha

Worth a shot, only thing is, you'd have to get two bumpers painted plus the cost of that yellow one. There's a guy in the UK that parts out Fords and ships worldwide, I've gotten a couple parts from him and the shipping isn't horrible, I had to get the rear bumper bar shipped over and he had a good price, can't remember exactly how much right now though. I'll send you a link to his store later on today.

Thanks Jeff, the idea was to save that one but it would prolly be more effort then just having one shipped over lol. But maybe eventually if I'm at the junkyard and find a bumper in the coler of that car and I can work up a trade. Still saving up for suspension now so guess you'll still be the only euro foci around . Btw I cleaned my trunk out and found a small cap I think it might be part of that rack. Let me know if you want it
