if your car has been in 2 or more ohio winters you might as well plan on replacing your re control arms as they are prolly seized up. I'd plan on changing those to keep your frustration level down.

definetly, and if you dont end up using them, its always easier and quicker to return parts than have to stop and possible wait a few days to get them all the while your car is not road worthy. when you do them i'd be more than happy to give you a hand, i've had my fair share of fun with suspension parts on northern ohio cars latley lol.

Thanks For the tips! Sounds like a good Idea with the control arms, I think I am approaching winter #2 or 3 in my car since its moved up north so maybe if I'm lucky I can get way with not replacing those, but will definitely be picking up new ones just incase. Would be awesome for some help I'll let you know depending when this all happens.

Are you just doing springs or you doing shocks too? I guess i'm asking what setup are you going with? If you plan on just springs, you'll prolly just blow the shocks out shortly after install. Being an 03, you have atleast 8 years on the suspension. Also the SVT's have a slightly beefier rear control arm setup because people with bigger than stock year sway bars kept breaking them. They welded a small piece of metal where they used to break and problem solved. Like i said, i don't know what you plan on doing, but my experience, it's better to have everything you might need and return what you don't use. I have the stock focus suspension if you're interested. Prolly 20,000 on it when i swapped to the SVT Setup.

I am planning on dgr coilovers (not from the vender who scammed ppl on here) so no worries on the blowing out shocks thing. So should I look for svt specific rear control arms? As of now I think I will stick with my stock rear sway but put on poly bushings I allready have for it. I have a larger racecraft front sway bar to put on though but after I read how much work it is to put on I might just sell it to fund the coilovers (it was free I ran into the previous owner and he gave it to me not to long ago, he never put it on because it was just given to him to lol)

I don't know on the svt but on the zetec the front sway bar is actually easy to do. you just need to have ramps to have the front of the car elevated high enough to be able to jack up and down the front subframe/ crossmember thing

Interesting, I have an add up on the list to lol, factory svt parts mostly.

Anyone local want my black housing factory halogen lights? I will do a even trade for your chrome ones if they have nice enough lenses. going to be cracking open a set for donor lenses so I figure I could help someone else out while I'm at it. Jake I know your car would look sweet with the dark ones ;)

So your just looking for good lenses. I have a set of factory silver ones. The bulb housing is melted on the passenger side, but the lenses are good.
