2" is what you need for the tip coming off the muffler.

i think it's 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 inches.. i just welded on a 2" (3" at the ends) chrome dual tip and it fits fine.

That looks like the identical one to the one I have from Walmart. . .

You can get it for $9.96 in store. I live in a small ass town and they carried it so I would assume almost any Walmart store w an auto department would have it.

Here is the link for the exact item. It fits very snug around the stock exhaust pipe and tightens down very nicely. I believe the diameter of the inlet is 2.25 inches and the outlet is 2.75 inches. I would not go with anything that has a smaller diameter inlet than this especially since there is a bend in the stock exhaust.

Also, here are a few photos of the tip on my titanium hatch. . .the last few photos are me showing off my custom done pinstripe :)

Question! Since the stock exhaust tip is somewhat downturned, does the WM SS tip block or introduce more backpressure to the stock tip?

It may just be perspective, but it appears (and I'm just guessing) to block a bit of exhaust flow?

EDIT: I gotta say, anything to make the stock wart of an exhaust system look better is a plus. Every time I see my fofo tip from the rear, it reminds me of what I'd look like, without any pants, in public. Not a pretty picture.

I examined it while installing and have checked it periodically. I was worried about the same thing. It does not seem to do so because you cannot really get the tip past the bend and the tip faces downward the same same general direction as the stock pipe.

Hope this helps!
