Talking first car

My first car was 1.6Zetec Focus. In nine month I have made 20K miles. No problem what so ever. In february, on ice i got into a tree. With 45miles/h speed. The car was "professionaly" distroyd (recoverable - only the stop lights from the back of the car and seats), but I had no injury, not one scracth. This week I will get the second car, also Focus, but 1.8 TDCI. I would not recommend any other car to anybody.
I would say thank you Ford in public at any moment.
Besides its a very easy to drive car. You just think what you want and you will be there.

Wink

In Romania, Focus is, I think, the third car on the compact sales top, after Renault Megane 1 (very cheap) and Daewoo Cielo (very very cheap).
The only problem with FOCUS in Romania is the price. When the average salary per month is 300 USD, can you afford to pay 350USD for your FOCUS fog lamp ?
On the other way, for someone who can afford it, is most convenient for our general driving conditions. It seems very handy to drive, and specific stability make's Focus one of the most desired cars. Price and aftermarket services are in dissadvantage of FORD cars in Romania. Simply to expensive.
I think price policies of Ford is not quit right.

First car. Wow, that was a LONG time ago.
It was a 1967 Mercury Cougar GT-390.
13.5/110mph in the 1/4. Stock, 3.50 gears and C6 auto.
Didn't turn for beans, but went great....straight.
Boy, did I get a lot of tickets back then.
