Oh neat! The reason it felt bolted on is cause the oil cap is holding it in. Never thought of that. Still like the look of the cover better for sure ;)

One more question. I took a look under the hood and where the ball post are located have fully threaded posts already in place, do the balls thread on to the existing threaded posts, or do the posts have to be replaced?

They thread onto the existing post. Very easy install.

I don't know if anyone has tried this product. But it does an awesome job on the engine bays plastic covers etc.

I got it from a dealership that i have deal with at work so i got mine for cost list is $80 and i dont know the part number. you need to get the little stud things that hold the cover on to.
