Disappointed with moonroof

I just got my 2012 focus se sonic blue and it has a sun roof and it leaks I'm very disappointed they say it's gonna leak some and it'll drain but it's a brand new car it shouldn't leak has anyone else ran into this

When you say leak, to you mean that the water gets past the seal and then drains out the drains? Or, do you mean that it leaks onto your headliner?

They are correct--it's normal for a moonroof to seep water into the drains, even when brand new. That is what the drains are there for--to evacuate water that seeps past the air seal.

I have not had any leaks in the 4 months I have had my car. I'll never have another car without a moonroof. I love that thing!

No leaks in mine after 4 months. For the past 10 years all of my cars have had a moonroof and I have never had one leak.

Dude - take your car to the dealer. Problem will be fixed. And please mix in the occasional comma. Thanks.

Enjoy your Focus!
