I have a 09 SE and she didn't come with fogs, I had to instal them and I haven't gotten them working yet.

"2nd Gen problems"
I've spent too long looking into the abyss. It's starting to look back.

For me the upgrade to SE was too much of a waist of money. I have replaced or gone through most everything I can, but I do have a cool idea for running some fog/driving lights.
I want to install the "fog light" housings and wire them as just the high beams and use a single beam in the headlights (hid projector retro when funds permit).

I own 2010 SE 5-sp and I too wish the seats were better. They were ok when new, but now after a yr. they changed for the worst. I'm contemplating geting something else. (Perhaps a Mazda 3 Hatchback 6-sp. or Subaru Impreza.) Regarding the seats in different model trims, I'd bet the foam is the same but the seat/back cloth is different. Leather seats would hold their shape better I'd think. There's something special about the Focus. Mine runs perfectly and gets great mileage. It's a love/hate relationship!

I here you one the seats, I would like to find some leather buckets from some other ford group car, Mazda, Linclon, or so on. there will always be something you dislike in a car, just got to find it and make it better.

I also agree on the seats. They are horrible. I am thinking about swapping in some MKV GTI cloth seats soon.

I have the heated leather seats in my SES and so far they are just like they were as new.

I love my seats, and everyone that's had a ride in my car says the same. I don't think they changed anything in the 2011...but then again I keep finding minor differences between the other second gen years all the time!

Edit: I suppose my car is only 9 months old. Too soon to judge, I guess!
