For Sale: Ford Racing Zetec Head

Hi. Been a VERY long time since I have been on these Forums.

I stumbled upon this zetec head in my garage a few weeks ago while cleaning.
It was missing the intake valves when i found it. I sent it to the machine shop to get cleaned up and re assembled. I also ordered new FR 33mm intake valves also installed by the machine shop. Head was surfaced to clean off any imperfections, also had the valve seats cleaned up upon reassembly. Head is totally ready for cams and install.

Best way to reach me is PM's
Located in 21911
Asking $750 Shipped. OBO
also includes but not installed a whole extra set of valve seals. and if i get my asking price i will also include 2 extra sets of Valve Buckets.

and one to show the fresh deck.

And the box's the new valves came in.

Just to clarify. This head DOES have valve seals in it and i am including an extra set of New seals. Just reread my thread and it was a little misunderstanding..

Will entertain offers.

After doing a little searching I found a couple sites selling these in the mid 700's. But they do not include buckets/tappets. I lowered mine to 750 shipped and i am including all the extra buckets/tappets that i have along with an extra set of valve seals.

i may be wrong but this looks like a normal zetec head with bigger intake valves put in. the FR has stainless intake and exhaust.

This is a Confirmed FR head. It has New intake valves, The exhaust valves are just dirty.

Edit: Also measured the ex valves. They are ~1.17-1.19" ex and the in. reads 1.28-1.30" which is equivalent to 30mm ex and 33mm in. Caliper i was using may need calibrated thats why the readings are not exact.

I also have a standard zetec head laying around. Went i put the 33mm valve in it does not fit like it does in this head.

Edit: U can also see the CNC machine marks on the runners.

I Can get measurements of the two heads and post the comparison with numbers and pics if u like.

Edit: Intake measures ~1.875" on std zetec. FR measured in at ~2.0"
I am uploading pictures now to show the runner stock vs FR and also a shot of an FR valve in a std. zetec.

FR Intake runner

Std Zetec Intake Runner

Notice there are no Machine markings from the CNC used to smooth the runner and open it up.

FR in. valve in Std Zetec Head

Notice how the valve does not sit all the way in. Compare that to the FR head pic above where the valve is seated farther in the head.

This head is definitely FR...I sold it to him about 3 years ago. My car made 150hp. Def wouldn't have if it was a reg. zetec head.

Best way to confirm a Ford Racing head is the "Ford Racing" machined into the side of the head. I just bought brand new from CFM a couple months ago and it had a machine rectangle on the side of the head that has the ford in the oval with "racing"

Yes and no. The new style heads have that engraving the old ones did not. I got confirmation from tom a little while ago.

You may do better showing those CNC marks in the picture so they can see them
