First road trip with the SVT...
Went to the North Shore a couple weeks ago...with my little bro (driving the 944 turbo) and a couple of his auto-cross buddies. Good times were had, especially on the Gunflint Trail!
 Getting ready to go...8AM Saturday.  Finishing up the banana bread my wife made for us...  Lake Superior, Hwy 61 north of Two Harbors   Top of the Gunflint Trail, Canada is just over that rise... my brother had a 944 so much fun.. that is how i learn to drive stick.. thought it was so cool you didnt have to push in the clutch to turn on the car lol and how the shifter can pop up and raise up like a rally car lol

Couple more pictures...
 Anchor Bar in Superior WI for lunch, Saturday.  The 944 Turbo  '90 Miata...what a awesome little car. The rear tires are something like 8" wide...feels like a fighter jet on the inside!  S4...stage 3...450+ HP It was a great weekend to be up there...saw a few other 944's, several 911's, tons of vettes, stangs... Last edited by SVT04MN; 10-12-2012 at 08:56 PM. |
