I kinda wanted to get another thunderbird, if i could had found a 1995 ford thunderbird SUPERCOUPE (only 557 made that year with 5spd), i would had taken it in an instant. v6 supercharged thunderbird putting out fooking a WHOPPING 330ft-lbs torque and 235hp. It's a monster of a machine. (also 3800lbs) rare, so very rare too.

Mazda 6 for me but it wasn't out yet when my lease ended so I went with the Focus SVT.

I was deciding between the Focus, 2nd gen. eclipse gs, integra ls/gsr, honda civic (which I own), Civic Si, and the cars I couldn't afford if I wanted to: 300zx, supra, and Rx-7. I got the focus because it was the newest, cheapest, and had the least amount of miles.

I was considering a '00 Civic Si, '97 Prelude Type SH, '96 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX, "98 Integra GSR, but I actually ended up getting the focus for free because it was moms and she didnt want it anymore so it fell in my lap, I ended up not buying any of the others, but I will be getting another Honda soon

All late model used I was replacing a very tired '91 VW Passat- looked at VW Golf & Jetta TDI, a plain jane Focus 5 spd., Dakota Sport, Cavalier Z24, Mazda 626- that's about it- then I found my 2000 Focus SE Sport, Zetec with 5 Spd.

In all honesty the Focus was the only car on my list. I'm too much of a Ford man to admit otherwise but seriously, I knew from the moment the car came out in Europe 5 years ago that I wanted one and 4 months after it came out here at the beginning of 2003 I bought one. Worth the wait let me tell you.

I agree w/ sydney. I've always had my heart set on a focus ever since I have saw them. I did look at others, just to see what they had to offer, that and I was getting what I could afford at the time. I looked at the kia rio's, cavalier, even a neon, but still had my heart set on the focus. Even though it would have been nice to get the svt, which is what I really wanted, I took the premium zx3 that I have. Would have even been nice to have the power premium package as well, but no one had any available at the time, and I was just as suitable w/ the premium package since I was in a hurry to get one.

I wanted an RSX like you would not believe, then reality hit me in the booty and made me realize I won't be able to afford one unless I won it or hit the lottery. Anyway, I went to the dealer with intentions of getting my oil changed on my 01 mits. galant (go infra!!) and then decided I was going to try to get this 4 door Integra GSR...so nice...but the dealer told me I'd be better off getting a brand new car (which I never thought I could afford). I ended up with the focus and even though I'm paying out the wazoo for it, I still love it. And I don't know anyone else who has one...so I'm glad I didn't jump on the Honda/Acura train because there are just waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many of those around here.
