2008/2009 Paint TSB fix

Finally got my car back, they fixed up the chips from the rocks and adhered the clear plastic stuff to protect from future damage. I was expecting a little piece like on my friend's Scion xD but when I saw this.. it is MASSIVE

I circled it in yellow so it might help if you can't see it.

Just posting it to show what Ford will do to fix it, if and when you bring yours in to get patched up. Mine wasn't too bad but hey it was free, why not lol

The TSB applies to 2 doors too
Same area gets damaged. Go take a closer look, you might find the little white marks on the corner there

It took them forever to paint mine the weather was crappy so they said they couldn't paint since the air was so wet
I didn't have my car for a week, they didn't get to do it, I took the car back for a week gave it back and they had it for another week and couple days.
Stupid rain. There were only 4 sunny days in all of June

I hear ya, Phokus. Mine's been in the dealer's outside contractor paint/collision shop since June 23rd, and Mike at Harris Ford says it won't be ready to come home until July 6th. Sure wish the paint line at the Wayne plant had a better QC system!

BTW, do you have a link to the TSB on '08/'09 paint? If there're other things I need to do besides the repaint, might as well get it all out of the way in one go.
