Go to a local tire store and see if they have some boxes from wheels they have sold. Most are more than happy to give them to you. When I have bought loose wheels (no tires) the boxes came banded/strapped in pairs. Either UPS or FedEx will give you free shipping estimates at their stores or on-line if you can accurately weigh and measure the boxes.

I recently shipped a wheel (no tire) fedex ground was just under $25. I had a spare wheel box that I shipped it in. Now, for steel wheels, you arent going to find a buyer who wants to pay that much for shipping, so it may hurt your net. When I've ordered tires online, they get strapped in pairs and just get sent as is. I'd assume you could do the same if you still had tires on your wheels, just thick cardboard over the front/backs.
![]() When I sold my stock steel wheels/tires, I let them go on craigslist and sold them locally. Just take a couple decent pictures to go with the ad and have some patience. |

Just throw them on Craigslist.
You live in a highly populated area, somebody will most likely want them. Winter is coming, advertise them as spare wheels for winter tires. |
