Tune

I bought an 03 SVT 5 dr, it has some mods, K&N, exhaust, STS. Is there anyway to tell if there has been a tune done? The guy I bought it from was the second owner and did not know the history of the car, but thought it had a tune. Is there any easy way to figure this out?

Thanks

** Moved ya to the Tune Chat Area **

Most of the times, to tell if the SVT has a tune ... the moment you turn it on it jumps to the idle rev right away between 850-1000 usually. On the Stock SVT focus tune the moment you turn it on it would jump up to like 1800-2200 rpms while warming up. Then come back down. That's usually an indication you have a tune or not.

Other than that, you would need a tuner to read it you do indeed have one.

The guys in here can help you with more info.

I can change that if you want the idle not to go up when you start it , your in a cold area so I left it where it rises then falls off after start , let me know
