Generic ST questions

Anyone tried to use a VAGCOM on a ST yet?

Keyless entry, all kinds of electronic gizmos, but I can't roll up or down the windows with the fob?

Is your headlight pattern off?

Air filter, wow what a PITA that is to replace.

Tangerine Scream owners, is your hood not quite the same shad as the rest of your car? Like they used a black primer instead of a gray primer?

VAGCOM is the VW scan tools, it wouldn't work for your Ford, you'd need an IDS and a subscription to the software to have access to certain functions that generally only a dealer can play with, and it isn't cheap.

VAGCOM works some things on my Jeep but does nothing on the ST170, BTW. It works on ANY VW AG vehicle, VW, SEAT, SKoda, Audi, Porsche, Bentley etc.

$3900 for a Pan TB? Please.

Pattern has nothing to do wiht them coming on or off, I am talking about how the light projects from the headlight housings. The drivers side is not flat like the passengers side.

My light pattern seems to be fine. Also, what made the air filter a pain to replace? I thought it was fairly easy Maybe mine was just playing nice.

Hood was repainted. It took them 3 days to match it.

Mine seem fine, but you are aware that the pattern is just that and not flat beam of light, correct?

I have auto tap and VAGCOM and only the autotap only for Diagnostics can't change anything like the windows up/down with key fob. Might see if the Dealer can find out more about setting it up. I have a mechanic at a ford Dealer that also has a ST.

I also have Lemmiwinks tuner for Revo from my old car not sure if I can use it on the ST if I get REVO tuned.

More info about it here.
