No the one that broke was an older Focus Central 65mm tb. I haven't heard of any failures on the CFM ones.

I got the info from the svtf tech sheet it has all the details about the svtf soo

The CFM ones break too, there was a thread about it on FJ. It seems that it happens more on boosted applications.

The difference between the throttle bodies is the FORD TB is measured at the opening where its the widest, the other aftermarket TB's are measured at the butterflies.

Technically the stock 65mm TB is 62-63 at the butterfly.


As for 65 or 67..... unless you port the manifolds flange you get the exact performance from both of them.
