same problem, i think its because the radio puts out 12v when we need 6v... anyone know what kind of resistors we could use to fix this?

Don't run audio cables (speaker wire or RCA) along side power cables. You want to run audio cables down one side of the car, and power cables down the other. The audio cables will pick up interference from the power cables and you will get noise.
