Replace Central Locking module advice needed

I have a Focus CL Pre 2001 and I'm looking to change my tempramental central locking module. The current one is the one with the single socket, pink label and no remote control. The unit I want to replace it with is the 98 AG 15K600-EB CL DL RF.

My door/ignition key is just an ordinary key with a little torch built-in. I don't think that type of key contains any immobilizer chip. Please tell me if I am wrong!

If I replace the central locking unit :-
1. will my existing ignition key start the car still?
2. If I don't get a remote key immediately can someone confirm that
I will be able to operate the central locking with the existing on chipped
key?
3. When I do get a remote key and go through the learning process so it
operates the doors, does the key need to have a specific part number in
order to operate with the control unit?

Thanks for any help in advance
