I couldnt get my center 02 out

The first time we tried to install my wide band we just went to the bottom 02 and it came right out. It had issues (the wideband defaults to somthing other then lamda for some reason) and i thought i messed it up so i put everything back. This time we tried the center 02 on the cat and it wouldn't come out. It broke loose and got harder to turn. Rather then risk breaking it off in the cat we stopped and just put the wide band sensor at the bottom again.

Iv'e already had a tune from Tom and i thought the middle and bottom 02 were disabled or something? Today i notice my engine light is on. Should it be on?

We just removed the bottom 02 and left it unplugged. Does it need to be in there connected and hanging or something?

I don't understand why the engine light is on, maybe i should check the code with the SCT unit to make sure that's why its on?

If you have a tuner, which you do, then check the light ... no sense in wondering what it's for when you have the tools to find out. Ya'know.

As for the WBO2. I must go in the exhaust before the catalytic converter. And I can't recall what O2 is where on the duratec ... I recall 3 of them though.

What brand WBO2?
Are you sure you didn't mix up the wiring and wire the analog output to the gauge (0-1v output is analog, gauge should read a 0-5v signal)?

Its the innovate, it is working right. Its just this wideband can be programmed to read other things not just "gasoline" it defaults to a custom type of fuel and then the display reads something different.

After i took it out i figured out on my bench at home how to set it up properly and got it calibrated and stuff now its back in again.

Its saying that the heater in bank 1 (only 1 bank anyway) sensor 3 has a malfunction. The 3rd would be the last one.
