I like how those lights look! Was it pretty much just switch the old bulb with the led and thats it? Or was it hard to hook up.

Lightbulb

Good Gawd that looks nice, I am going to get some of those for sure! Any idea if these would fit in an 08?

Also, what other LED/light upgrades do you guys have?

Thanks I appreciate it!

It's a direct replacement of the old bulbs. No wiring, no external resistors. Just plug and play!

Yes, the link I put is directly to the ones I used. The map light size is the same for all 08-11 second gens, so they will fit just fine for you. Just as a confirmation, however, the bulb size you're looking for is:

WLED-xHP9-T

If those are too big, you can also get the WLED-xHP5. When I say the HP9 barely fit in the map lights, I mean I had to permanently remove the metallic reflector in order for them to fit. If you feel like cutting out a portion of the reflector, I'm sure it can still fit in there. But because I was impatient, I just took it out. As you can see, they're bright enough that you don't really need the reflector after you install them.

I previously had the HP5 bulbs in there, and those you could fit in with the reflector still in place.

You do need 2 right?

And you need the WLED-xHP5: LED T10 Wedge Base Bulb and not the twist and lock socket right?

Yes, you need two. One for each of the map lights. If you have a dome light in the back seat and you want to replace that bulb as well, then you would need three.

To remove all doubt, this is a picture of the 9 LED bulb you would be buying (mini wedge base, NOT twist and lock socket):

Oh, and in case you were interested, the trunk bulb (there's only one in there) is the exact same size as well. I used to have the HP5 in white, but I moved that one to the trunk when I installed the blue LEDs. Now the trunk is very well lit. Crice installed an LED panel which plugs into the same socket size, if I recall correctly. You can buy them on ebay. Perhaps he or someone else will share a link.

Final note: make sure you test that the bulbs are installed in the correct direction (positive/negative) before you put everything back together. If you switch the light on and the LED produces no light, pull the bulb out, rotate it clockwise 180 degrees, then plug it back in. That should fix the polarity issue.

Yes i have the panel lights in my trunk and it works very well as you can see below(=
as for the map lights and dome lights i have the high intensity blue ones but any 194 wedge style bulb will work.

[SPLOOSH] Gotta say I am really digging the lights fellas, Crice8 do you have a link for the panel lights that you have in your trunk?

Edit: sorry for being an un-original bastard and taking all your ideas but they're just so damn good!
