Different AFR Sensor and Gauge
Not sure if this should go here or technical chat so if it needs to be moved, feel free.
I was wondering if I might be able to pick up an AFR sensor seperate and then some random AFR gauge from Autozone at a cheaper price than what I would pay if i got it all together (such as an AEM Wideband kit with sensor and gauge) any suggestions? thanks a lot -Ryan

No its best to buy the gauge and sensor together this way the calibration is right and you get a correct air fuel reading

any mounting suggestions? I want it stock looking. possibly in the coin tray area next to the gauge cluster ( like in SVTs) but how hard would it be to create that?

Either replacing the coin tray, or possibly at the bottom of the gauge cluster (behind the steering wheel) Both would require quite a bit of bondo/fiberglass molding. I wanted to keep the stock look too, but ended up caving and just getting a gauge pod.

How hard would it be to mod an svt gauge surround? I know they have different gauge faces and stuff but would it be any easier?
