Love the car. owned it a little over a month now and have 2500 miles on it. only thing i dont like is the skip shift feature in the stock tune. After i tuned it i turned off that feature. I average about 21mpg in the city and 26-27.3 on the highway with 3:73 gears.

Honestly no clue, nor do i want to know. But if you wanna add it up just for fun, its had 2 built motors, 7 different turbos, 4 diff turbo kits, built motor, head, cams, twin disk clutch, etc lol

does the turbo not have a warranty? what brand is it again? if its a comp then big surprise but otherwise i say wtf?

edit: i ran back and looked at your thread. precision billet 58 57. dont know anything about that one specifically but its my understanding that precision turbos arent very bad for that. have you called them up on the phone yet about possibly sending it in for repairs at no or at least discounted rates?

Called themup and theysaid its no longer under warranty and they also said if there is no shaft play then there should be ntn wrong with the seals. Well I beg to differ because it burns oil right at the exhaust side of the turbo. And only after I do a cpl boost pulls. And then on startup I get the smokey exhaust. I'm droppping it off at a rebuild shop tomorrow for 300 bux. Precision said minimum without looking be 200. But I prefer local because it takes 2 days and the frost is coming and I don't feel like asking my father to re occupy his garage again

Call up Boostlab, and talk to kirk or lebbet. They will rebuild your turbo with factory parts and give you a warranty. there prob the only shop that truley give you factory parts for the rebuild, the chinese replacement parts are garbage. tell them Jim who use to own the grey focus sent you.

The only problem I have there is they aren't local and will take longer and I no longer have garage space to store a car for the time being
