Now I'm contemplating doing it myself! The guy makes it look so easy!
When translated from guy speak. Watch me really screw this up so it costs three times as much as it should have cost.

Does anyone know if auto tint city in dearborn heights is any good?
"6938 Telegraph Road
Building B (Same property/driveway as Murray's-O'Reilly Auto Parts)
Dearborn Heights, MI 48127
(313) 274-2300"

They are offering GeoShield DarkMatter film, which they claim is great for heat rejection, 3M Color stable film at the next lower tier, or llumar ATC color stable, both of which sound like they are not ceramic unlike the DarkMatter, they also had a basic black dyed film for around $190 +/- tax, ranging up to $349 for the Geoshield. From what I've seen/ read so far it seems that the GeoShield DarkMatter film is similar to that of the Huper Optic films, but I don't have much experience with having a car tinted.

I really don't want to risk handing my car over to a chop shop however. That's my big worry.

Today I was inspecting every window and the guy who tinted my car did an incredible job and it almost looks OEM and it really has cooled the car down when it's 100 out.
Those in the Denver area check out Tintcrafters SW for a great job with very competitive prices.
