I have a friend who owns a shop -- so I can't help you.

Most, for obvious reasons, wont unless you slip them some decent cash.

I can say from experience that my ceramic tint (highest line Lluma makes) would cost somewhere around $385 for a hatch focus. Of course I got the F&F discount so it was like $150 dollars and a case of beer LOL.

Of course my friend is a tad higher because he's the only one in the area that cuts his film with a computer. Everyone else uses the old school method with a razor blade. I don't know about you but I like my vehicles, so I make the hour drive out to his shop. :)

There is a place 25 miles from me that does ceramic, not sure if they will let me slip on the percentage as you said. There is a place I pass by everyday that is notorious for doing illegal tint but they don't carry ceramic so its a no go.

Very nice, I bet with the white paint and high quality tint film you'll be running a lot cooler in the summertime.

I'll be going with a local shop with one owner / operator that installs Llumar film.
VLT levels in your tint ... my recommendation is to adhere to local / state ordinances. I'm sure you have, but it is always good to verify tint law from more than one source. Maine's law changed dramatically (in favor of lower VLT levels) in 2006 and several "tint law" websites have never updated.

I have always used the same shop on all my vehicles and they do everything, including police vehicles. The brand is Formula 1 and I have vehicles that are over 10 years old and never had a minutes trouble with it. This time, they recommended the ceramic tint because of all the electronics in the car and as soon as our Titanium comes in, that will be its first stop!

Just a quick note on legal/illegal tint, be very careful. Here in NC, this shop always does things by the book. Good thing too because they have started taking a light meter reading on windows that look too dark and if it is not legal, you can't pass the state inspection!!! This is NC, not California, so beware or you will have to have it removed and done over!

I've never been to a tint shop in tennessee where they wouldn't tint below the legal limit...they might tell you that crap on the phone but will do whatever when you go in person. They just won't give you the form saying it's legal... if you need a good one in nashville send me a message

It's easier to upload the photos you want to post to an Imageshack, Photobucket, Tumbler, etc. account then link the image back to your post.

Mr Bergner (an Admin. here) previously answered a question I had about pictures ... If you post them in the gallery here, they have to go through an approval process which can take a couple days sometimes. But there's no action required on your part once they're uploaded.

But the most common way is to upload them to Photobucket or Imageshack and then get the URL from there and post them using HTML code. For images the code is .

Good luck!

Just washed and waxed.
15% all around including the brow. The tint isn't as dark as it looks.
