Third picture shows some tiny bubbling but it's only been a day so I am hoping they will fade. Plus the car has been in a dark garage all day and night so no sun to bake the tint in yet and get those bubbles out.
edited out your pics so people wouldn't have to scroll through them to read my response, but what % tint? nice to see another white focus.

Hey guys,

Just spent the last 20 minutes reading the history of the thread. Some fine looking Foci! I just got back form the tint shop and set up an appointment to get mine done in two weeks. I've settled on getting Llumar CTX, but the question I'm tossing back and forth is to go either 40% or 30% all the way around (all windows except windshield). I'm personally not the biggest fan of having different tints on different windows, so it'll have to be one or the other. There's only a 3% heat resistance between the two (47% heat reduction on the 40%, 50% reduction on the 30%), so this question is really about aesthetics, not so much function.

Any thoughts?

I feel the same about having all the windows with the same tint. I went 35% but would have went darker if not for the LAW!!!

We will be getting 35% on the fronts, 30 - 25% rear here in MI....my old boss is a retired state trooper, he cant speak for local cops or county mounties, but he said they just want to be able to see the driver silloette thrum the front windows...

Has anybody tried the $30 pre-cut tint on ebay. Is it that hard to do yourself if everything is already cut to size? I've seen it done several times over the years.

Here's a quick question - anyone know why all the drive ways in the US are made of block concrete? Seems like a hassle and it chips and cracks easily with grass and weeds growing up. Here they are all black asphalt unless you want interlocking stones or something. Just something I've noticed in all of the tinting pics.
Huh, they're not...Lol. it just depends on the local ordinances an how cheap the builders were...asphalt cheap initially, more maintenance later(or else it'll crack and grow weeds too!
