I got my tint's done at A-1 Window Tint in Tampa, FL. Took about 1.5 hours. The owner is very nice, he actually did my honda 6-7 years ago, and it was still great when I sold the car in May. So my Focus got 15% in the back and rear windows, and 20% for the front two, and nothing on the front windshield. I'm pretty sure no cop will ticket me for it here in Tampa.

REDFOCZ,

I actually know the place, he offered to tint my maxima when I got it estimated there. You mind sharing how much it cost you? And you did get the windshield done right?

I've also heard a lot of good things about Auto-Links in Scarborough. I've set up a meeting already since last month and about to go 35% all around for my appointment tomorrow.

Hopefully that's not too dark during the night since I can barely see cars on my side mirror at night.

Is the tint ceramic? If you don't mind, what did they charge?

He said it was a "new" tint they just got in. And that it's like the Lumar brand but a diffferent brand. Since I'm an old neighbor of his and I flirted big time I was charged $79 + tax. (I gave him $120 because I knew he was giving me a cheap price.) I don't know if they are ceramic. Sorry.

So if I bring my car to Tampa, you can tell him you didn't like the body color of the old one and you need this new one tinted and I give you $150?
The tinters in Bradentucky are asking $200 for normal tint and $350 for ceramic....

Dang Maureen, we need pics of you and the car!! (G rated hahaha)
It's not easy to please tinters around here....

I can help you get a good price if you're willing to drive to Tampa, sure thing! I'm taking my girl friend's mazda to him in a couple weeks. I figure if we go together and flirt then maybe he'll give her a good deal too. :)

I'll work on pics... It means I'd have to get my tripod and dslr out... sometime soon.
