I'm getting a titanium sedan that comes with lots of gizmo's in the doors as you guys are all well aware.
I got my Tints done at Auto-Links in Scarborough.

It's worth the drive up there, They did an awesome job. I got the FormulaOne Tint Pinnacle Series 15% (Ceramic Tint) all around.

As for taking the panels off, Not 100% sure, I was napping in the waiting room.

For ceramics/carbons, SunTek vs. Llumar vs. 3M.

Anybody have a preference? It seems like ceramic is the most expensive, but I like it because it allows signals.

Pictures of the car straight out of their garage with the finished tint job. It took about 1.5 hours or so.

that looks awesome! I'm not aware of the Ontario tint laws and whats allowed or not. I was thinking 35% all around, but don t want to regret going too light

From what I read:

- It's up to the cop if he wants to ticket you.

- He has to be able to distinguish who or what is behind the wheel.

- To be safe it's 35% for the fronts and no tints on the windshield but you can have a visor.

- The backsides and rear window can be as dark as you want them.

The customer before me had 30% done and I thought they were too light for my liking. I'm risking it by going 15% but I have not been pulled over YET.

I think 35% is the maximum legal limit.

I live in Southern California. I had the LLumar Pinnacle 40 put all around with a 15 visor. I went a little lighter because my eyes don't see as well as they did in the dark. I have an eleven year old car that has an older Formula One Tint on it and it is perfect. I had the car repainted a year ago the sun damage was so bad.

The newer Pinnacle film is a little clearer than the material I had installed eleven years ago. Don't go for the cheap stuff. It will fade and look terrible in a few years. Would you buy junk sunglasses to look through?
