That's pretty stupid. Guess I'll just skip that then. Appreciate it !

I'm so close to making the front 2 35% though , I just don't think it's worth the risk.

I wouldn't do it, but truth be told I have a *lot* of friends that have it at like 20% or below and have never gotten pulled over. My friend's GTO is at 5% all around and he's never gotten pulled over once (bought his 2010 model in 2009...so about 2 years now).

Then again, put some ground effects and a ridiculous spoiler on your car and I'm sure they'll pull you over on day #2 and issue a ticket.

Either hit or miss it seems like, think i'll be safe here and go legal. I'm good with spending money on my car note and nothing else

Here are pics of my Titanium 5-door with 30% Llumar CTX (Ceramic) on the side and back glass and 80% Llumar Air film on the windshield:

I also took the badges off the back:

Looks good. Did the "Focus" badge come off in one piece and with no damage?

(if so, are you willing to sell it? )

I am in Ohio as well and I just had my windows tinted. Was planning on 50% front but the salesperson said no one ever gets the 50% so I went with 35% front 20% back. Figured I would take the chance. I see SO many cars around with front windows tinted much darker than mine.

I'll get some pictures posted soon.

What are folks paying to get their windows tinted? Approximations are fine, as I'm wanting to put in a rough budget?

Thanks in advance.

$180-250 seems to be going-rate depending on what kind of tint they use. Which incidently is the range for tint of every car I've owned.

Mine came off in one piece and I'd be willing to let go of it. Send me a PM.

Ceramic tint seems to be in the $300-$400 range at least around here. Once my car finally arrives next week I'll go out and try to negotiate the best deal.
