Can you see out the rear window at night when backing up?
I live in Ohio (our law is 50% front 2 windows, no laws against the rest) and I have my tint at 13%. I can't see anything except lights out the back windows at night. It's irrelevant when driving because I don't have a need to see out of the back windows (at least see anything that doesn't have lights on it). This is one of the reasons I have the rear-view camera works perfectly since I can see to the sides out of the front windows and behind me in a wide arc through the camera.

No problem.

I must say, I really like the way the yellow blaze tricoat shines and glows in the sunlight.

I got my guy to tint up to the edges around the shaded portion and the rain sensor in the middle (so I can put my toll pass on the shaded portion instead of sticking it to the window film). I paid $120 for that plus $309 for the remaining windows to be done with 30% Llumar CTX (Ceramic) film. It looks awesome!
I've ordered a white platinum Titanium that should be here on 7/11. I'm thinking about going with the same tint setup as you and would love to see how it looks. Any chance you would post some pics? I'm particularly interested in how the windshield tint looks.

Also, I'm wondering if some window tint places might be taking the 75% VLT from the factory into account to calculate total percentage while others don't. Maybe that's why there's some variance here?

I've been lurking here a while, and my wife finally coaxed me into posting. I think she was tired of me talking about all of this so much. Hoping you all won't mind my excited ramblings...

Aight took some pictures last night. Not the easiest to tell (the sun was beaming in from the right side of the car (or behind and to the left of the camera) so the sun kind of made it hard to tell how dark the windows are...but they're 13% all around with 50% for the front 2.

Nice! I see you're from Cleveland...Cincinnati here...I pretty much have the same vehicle as you except mine is a SEL. This gives me an idea of how mine will look though! I get mine done in 2 weeks. Thanks for posting these. I plan on going 50% front 2 and 10% the rest.

Do you know the legal limit here in Ohio for the windshield though?

The windshield is weird in Ohio. You can tint the top 7" or the top 15% of the windshield, whichever comes first (I think it's 15%...might be 10%, just don't remember). On this car it's the top 7 inches that you're allowed to tint. Darkness doesn't matter on it but can only be that small amount of windshield.
